4.6.1     Account - Basic

Figure 4.6.1.A     Accounts - Basic page.

This page is almost completely for your information only. There isn't anything to edit. It is purely for you to see the current status of your service. We also provide a handy link to the renew page should your server be close to its renewal date.

  1. Service ID
This is the service ID number of your server.

  2. Reference
This is the order reference number of your server. In most instances, if you drop the MH part, it will be the same as your service ID number.

  3. Type
This shows what type of service you have ordered. The could be a Game Server, one of a number of Dedicated Servers, or a Teamspeak or Ventrilo Server.

  4. Start Date
This shows the date on which your service started. This wont necessarily be the date you ordered the server or even when you paid, but rather the date on which the server setup was completed and you were notified that the server was ready.

  5. Renewal Date
This displays the current renewal date. You service has been paid up to this date. If you wish to renew your service, your payment should reach us before this date. A renewal invoice is generated 7 days before this date and is sent to you automatically.

  6. Cancelled
This shows whether you have notified us of your intent to cancel the service. If it displays 'NO', then we will assume that you wish to keep the server and therefore anticipate a renewal payment. If it displays 'YES', then you have notified us of your intent to cancel. No further payments will be taken/expected and the service will be taken down on the renewal date.

  7. Renewal Warning
Strictly speaking this is not something that is only displayed in the Account section of ClanForge. This warning will always pop up if you are within 5 days of your renewal date, and will be visible on all ClanForge™ screens. This is in addition to an email we will send you automatically to remind you that your renewal is due.

  8. Renew
If you are ready to renew your service with an online payment, click this button. It will take you to our online payments system.

  9. Cancel Service
One of the more recent additions to ClanForge™ is the ability for you to flag your service for cancellation. In the past we have asked that you send in an email to notify us of your intent to cancel. Instead, you can now do this within ClanForge™ itself. After clicking on this button you are presented with the following box:

As part of the cancellation process we ask that you select a reason for your cancellation from the drop down menu, and if at all possible, to write some comments in the box about your experience with us. Anything you want to say is fine, good or even negative feedback is always welcome, or if you just want to expand upon your reason for cancellation, that's just fine. Once finished click on Confirm. If everything is successful, you will get a popup message box similar to this:
